Spring Break in Portugal

In 2015, I spent my Semana Santa (Holy Week, or the week leading up to Easter Sunday) in Portugal. Click on the links to see photos and read about the time my friend and I spent there.

On a shoestring budget, we flew into Lisbon, then took a train up to Coimbra, then a bus up to Aveiro, and finally another train up to Porto. After two nights in Porto, we caught an early Ryanair flight back to Madrid. Staying in hostels and eating food from grocery stores half the time, I spent less than 200 euros for the whole six-day trip, transportation included.

I absolutely love Portugal.
